MOVEMENT PT5000 (2824-2 REPLACEMENT)

The PT5000 was introduced in 2015 as a replacement for the 2824-2. The manufacturer advertises that it invests a great deal of effort in precise production and quality control, which means that the movements are fundamentally chronometer-compatible. In March 2018, several movements were sent to the observatory in Glashütte for chronometer testing, where the chronometers were tested to standard and received a calibration certificate from the German Calibration Service at the Glashütte Observatory.

We have tested several PT5000 movements and they all show excellent rate values and therefore deserve a place in our store.
